Connect Saint Helena Ltd would like to advise consumers that a power outage has been scheduled from 9:30am to 11:30am on Thursday 24 October 2024, affecting consumers in Harpers, Oak Bank, Knollcombes and Prince Andrew School. This scheduled outage will allow Connect to reinstate the HV Network at Brown's Hill.

Further to yesterday’s announcements, Connect Saint Helena Ltd would like to advise that work is continuing to flush the water system in Jamestown.  As a result, some customers may continue to experience low water pressure or may be without water for a period of time.   

 Flushing the system has resulted in a reduction in the high chlorine levels that were experienced in some parts of the Jamestown water network.  Whilst there has been a significant improvement, work is still ongoing in some areas.  In the meantime, consumers on the Jamestown system are advised to boil their water for drinking purposes.   This advisory will remain in effect until the morning of Wednesday, 31 July.

This scheduled water interruption will allow Connect to repair a water main.

Connect Saint Helena Ltd would like to advise the public and residents in Ruperts Valley that on Wednesday, 19th June all day commencing at 9am Connect staff will be excavating across the Haul Road within Ruperts at the junction leading to Field Road.  These works will allow staff to install a new pipeline as part of the programme of water network upgrades in Ruperts.
 
This work will not obstruct vehicular traffic but road users are kindly asked to approach this area with caution and to adhere to the appropriate signage in place.

Connect Saint Helena Ltd would like to advise the public due to unforeseen circumstances the water interruption which was planned for today Monday 10 June has now been postponed and rescheduled for tomorrow Tuesday 11 June 2024 from 9am to 3.30pm. This water interruption will affect all consumers in Rupert's from the church to lower Rupert's including the Saint Tuna Cooperation Ltd and is to allow Connect to reposition a fire hydrant and control valve at Lower Rupert's.
