Projects

The Project team manages the engineering and contractual works of the Company.
The Team's commitment is to:
  • Manage all projects in an efficient and timely manner, ensuring functional objectives are achieved within budgets and programme requirements.
The following list outlines a series of significant projects that are currently being and will be undertaken by Connect Saint Helena Ltd.

Current Projects
Water Main Upgrade - Gold Mine to Blueman's Field

This project involves the upgrade of the existing pipeline between Gold Mine tank and Blueman's Field tank which has deteriorated over time. Once this pipeline is commissioned, it is expected that the upgraded network will reduce maintenance costs associated with water pipe failures, reduce water loss and meet future demands.

Sewage Treatment Plant - Ruperts Valley
Once commissioned, the Sewage Treatment Plant will produce environmental benefits, reduced risk to public health and larger consumers will avoid the need for more frequent emptying of their septic tanks.

GIS Surveying
This project is ongoing and involves mapping the electricity network as well as water pipelines, sewer lines, and related facilities.
Upcoming Projects
  • Sewer line replacement - Longwood Field
  • Tank Replacement – Longwood Avenue
