Connect Saint Helena Ltd would like to advise the public that as part of their preventative maintenance programme, a power outage has been scheduled for Thursday 19th August 2021 from 9:30am to 12:30pm, affecting consumers in Pouncey’s & Luffkins.
This scheduled maintenance will allow Connect to transfer low voltage lines onto a new pole in Pouncey’s. Connect Saint Helena Ltd thank their customers for their cooperation during this time. Connect Saint Helena Ltd would like to advise the public that as part of their preventative maintenance programme, a power outage has been scheduled for Wednesday 18th August 2021 from 9am to 1pm, affecting consumers from Bottom Woods, The Weather Station, Horse Point, Horse Point Stone Crusher, Bradleys, St Helena Airport &The Millennium Forest.
This scheduled maintenance will allow Connect to replace insulators from Bottom Woods to Bradleys. Connect Saint Helena Ltd thank their customers for their cooperation during this time. Connect Saint Helena Ltd would like to advise consumers from Lower Cleughs Plain that there will be a scheduled water interruption on Tuesday 10th August 2021 from 9am to 4pm, this interruption will allow Connect Saint Helena Ltd to connect the new water main to existing infrastructure. During this period these consumers will be without water.
Connect Saint Helena Ltd thank their customers for their cooperation during this time. Connect Saint Helena Ltd and Isaacs contractors will be excavating across the main entrance to Lower Cleughs Plain Nr Mc Daniel’s Shop to connect the new water main to the existing network. The road from McDaniels Shop down to lower Cleughs Plain will be therefore be closed to vehicular traffic from Tuesday, 10th August to Friday, 13th August from 9am to 3pm. Residents in the lower Cleughs Plain area are reminded that access will be limited during this time to emergency vehicles and pedestrians only.
Signage will be in place to notify pedestrians and vehicular traffic of the road closure. Connect Saint Helena Ltd thanks the public for their cooperation. Connect Saint Helena Ltd are continuing to upgrade the water network in Half Tree Hollow. As a result, the road near Mr Chris George’s residence to the junction near Mr Fred Henry’s residence and Wirebird Drive will continue to be closed to the public from Monday, 2 August 2021 to Tuesday 31 August 2021 from 9am to 3pm on weekdays only.
Emergency vehicles and residents who live along this road will have access to and from their properties. Drivers are asked to drive carefully and expect some delays. Signage will be in place to notify pedestrians and vehicular traffic of the road closure. Connect Saint Helena Ltd thanks the public for their cooperation. |
