A burst water main in the vicinity of Rose Hill was reported early yesterday morning which  affected water supply to properties in the Hutt's Gate and Woody Ridge areas.  Staff were immediately deployed to the area and worked until 23:00 last night to address the fault.  Work resumed at 04:00 this morning and we are pleased to advise that the issue has now been resolved.  Due to the length of time taken to resolve, water levels in the storage tanks were depleted.  We anticipate that these will be back to full capacity by  approximately noon today with  normal  services fully restored.  In the meantime, staff will be checking individual branch lines on properties in the areas affected.

Connect Saint Helena Ltd would like to advise the public that a power outage has been scheduled for Wednesday 23rd November 2022 affecting consumers from all of Alarm Forest, Prospects, Gordons Post, Hunts Bank, Sea View, Putty Hill, Upper Briars and Two Gun Saddle from 9:00am to 10:00am.  This scheduled outage will allow Connect to carry out crucial works on the transformer at Putty Hill .

Connect Saint Helena  would like to advise customers in the Blue Hill, Head O Wain and Horse Pasture area that as a result of a burst water main last night, some customers in the Head O Wain and Horse Pasture area are still without water.  Staff are working to rectify the problem and customers in the rest of the Blue Hill area are kindly asked if they can reduce the water consumption to essential needs only for the next 24 hours.
