Electricity Generation Team
  • Ensure that generation capacity is in excess of customer demand
  • Maximise generation from renewable sources
  • To generate electricity at the best efficiency reducing cost wherever possible.

Electricity Distribution Team
  • To operate and maintain an electricity distribution network to the highest safety standards
  • To proactively maintain the network to reduce failures to as lower level as possible
  • When faults occur to rectify as quickly as possible taking steps to reduce the impact on our customers.

Water Networks Team
  • Maintain and renew where necessary water infrastructure to maintain water supplies
  • Maintain an acceptable water quality within the water distribution system
  • Maintain a level of free chlorine in the treated water distribution system to safeguard treated water supplies
  • Distribute untreated water (to as high a standard as possible) to communities where treated water is currently unavailable
  • Collect, store and supply water for irrigation needs
  • Maintain the communal sewer network and public septic tanks
  • Provide a septic tank emptying service across St Helena
  • In communities provided with a communal sewerage system collect and convey sewage away from the community to a safe treatment and/or disposal point.

Water Treatment Team
  • To provide and maintain treated water quality to as high standard as possible
  • To ensure sufficient water is stored and available for treatment/distribution to consumers.

Projects Team
  • Manage all projects in an efficient and timely manner, ensuring functional objectives are achieved within budgets and programme requirements.

Finance, Administration and Support Services
  • To ensure that useful, user-friendly Management information is provided to the highest standard and in a timely manner
  • To provide excellent customer service to all team members
  • To issue bills and deal with queries effectively
  • To manage day-to-day customer enquiries.
