Connect Saint Helena Ltd would like to advise the public that as part of their infrastructure refurbishment programme, the last of two power outages will commence on Monday 21st October 2019 from 9am to 1pm, affecting consumers in the following areas; Ladder Hill RE Yard, Ladder Hill Barracks, Ladder Hill Complex, Signal House, Red Roof and the ESH Business Park.
The Highways Authority has given approval for the road to be closed from Woody Ridge to Hutt’s Gate Junction on Tuesday 15th October from 9am to 3pm. This is to enable Connect Saint Helena Ltd to install a new water main from Rose Hill to Hutt’s Gate.
Signage will be in place to notify vehicular traffic of the road closure. Access will be permitted for residences and emergency vehicles only. The first power outage will commence on Monday 14th October 2019 from 9am to 1pm, affecting consumers in the following areas; Ladder Hill RE Yard, Ladder Hill Barracks, Ladder Hill Complex, Signal House, Red Roof and the ESH Business Park.
Also as part of their infrastructure refurbishment programme a scheduled power outage will commence Tuesday 15th October 2019 from 9am to 3pm, affecting consumers of Trap Cott, Southerns and Sunny Side. This scheduled maintenance will allow Connect to replace a HV pole at Sunny Side. Connect Saint Helena Ltd thank their customers for their patience during this time. The Highways Authority has given approval for the road to be closed in Blue Hill from Casons to Frenches Gut Junction on Friday 4th October from 9am to 3pm. This is to enable Connect Saint Helena Ltd to repair the water mains at Frenches Gut.
Access will be permitted for emergency vehicles only. Connect Saint Helena Ltd thank the public for their patience during this time. The Highways Authority has given approval for the road from Hutt’s Gate Store to Hutt’s Gate Treatment Plant, to be closed on Thursday, 3rd October from 10am to 10.30am, to allow the crane to remove the transformer from the HV pole near the Treatment Plant, therefore there will be no through access during this time.
