The Highways Authority has approved a road closure from Seales Corner to the Brow on Wednesday, 21st January 2026 from 9am to 4pm.
 
This closure is to allow Connect Saint Helena Ltd to carry out repairs to a leaking water main.  As a result, all vehicular traffic using the Seales Corner entrance to access lower Jamestown will be affected.   Please note that Emergency Services will have access via the Seales Corner entrance only and appropriate signage will be in place. 
 
During this closure, there will also be an interruption to the water supply.  Customers residing in Napoleon Street, Scout Hall area, Seales Corner, Parish Block, Harris Flats, the Bank of St Helena and the Duke of Edinburgh Playground area will be without water for the duration of the works.

This water interruption is due to a burst water main.

• Reconnections/disconnections
• Routine emptying of septic tanks
Applications received after this date will be attended to in the New Year starting from Friday, 02 January 2026.
