The Highways Authority has given approval for the road to be closed to vehicular traffic at Knollcombes, from Mr Michael Thorpe’s gate entrance to the Gumwoods junction, from Monday 16th November to Friday, 27th November 2020 from 9am to 6pm on weekdays only.  This closure will allow contractors to install a new water pipeline at Knollcombes.  The alternative route will be via Prince Andrew School. 
 
Signage will be in place to notify vehicular traffic of the road closure and the diversion routes.
 
Only pedestrians, emergency vehicles and residents who live along this road will have access, however some delays are expected so please approach the work area with caution, adhering to any instruction given by workers onsite.
